Case Study: A Successful Solar Installation in Chaddesley Corbett

We’re always delighted when we can help homeowners take big steps towards energy independence, and our recent project in Chaddesley Corbett is a perfect example.

For this installation, our customer wanted to make the most of their garage roof space and reduce their reliance on the grid. After carrying out a detailed survey and discussing the options, we designed a 4.35kW solar PV system paired with a 9.4kWh battery and a Hanchu car charger. This combination ensures that solar energy can be captured during the day and stored for use in the evening, maximising efficiency and savings. This also means that the customer can control and monitor everything by using the same app.

The system is projected to deliver an impressive 77% of the customer’s annual energy needs, with an estimated payback period of just over nine years. This means that the installation is not only an environmentally conscious decision but also a sound financial investment.

One of the highlights of this project was seeing the customer’s reaction once everything was up and running. They were absolutely delighted with the results and were so pleased with the work that they agreed to feature in a promotional video for Solar Select.
