The Installation

The solar panels will generate an estimated 13,708 kWh of clean electricity every year, helping the club significantly reduce the amount of energy it needs to purchase from the grid.
The addition of battery storage allows the club to make the most of every unit of renewable energy produced. Instead of sending unused solar energy back to the grid, excess electricity generated during the day can be stored and used during evenings, peak demand periods, or when solar generation is lower.
This gives Kidderminster Cricket Club greater flexibility over how and when it uses its energy, helping to maximise savings and improve long-term energy security.

The installation represents a significant investment in the future of the club, with an estimated payback period of just 7 years and 8 months.
